Ingredients

  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 300g fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 200ml brewed coffee, cooled
  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix sliced strawberries with balsamic vinegar and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Dip ladyfinger biscuits in the cooled coffee quickly and layer them in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add a layer of marinated strawberries on top of the mascarpone.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use espresso instead of regular coffee.
  • Ensure the ladyfingers are not soaked too long in coffee to maintain their texture.
  • Can be prepared a day in advance for better flavor.
