Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g butter
  • Powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt half of the butter.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the skillet and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Using two forks, tear the pancake into bite-sized pieces and add the remaining butter to the skillet.
  6. Continue to cook the torn pieces until they are golden and crispy on the edges.
  7. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of rum to the batter.
  • Serve with fruit compote or applesauce for added sweetness.
