Ingredients

  • 9 lasagne sheets
  • 500g butter chicken (cooked and shredded)
  • 400g ricotta cheese
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, spinach, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of butter chicken on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Place three lasagne sheets over the butter chicken.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the lasagne sheets.
  6. Add another layer of butter chicken, followed by three more lasagne sheets.
  7. Repeat the ricotta mixture and top with the remaining butter chicken.
  8. Finish with the last three lasagne sheets and pour heavy cream over the top.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chopped green chilies to the butter chicken.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
  • Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
